LIVING ROOMS

Church was never meant to be attended only once a week.
it was meant to be lived together daily.

Living Rooms are intentional spaces where people gather to build authentic relationships, grow spiritually, pray together, study Scripture, and simply do life together.

Life Groups are where people connect and take a next step. In a Life Group people do life together, share a meal, pray for one another , study the Bible and interact with the truth of God’s Word, they encourage one another to live out the mission and vision of Greenbrier Community Church. Join a Life Group and see why we believe that no one should do the journey alone!

Church Beyond Sunday.

We believe some of the most meaningful moments of ministry happen outside the walls of the church.

Because real transformation often happens in circles, not rows.

WHY “LIVING ROOMS”?

A Place to Belong.

A living room is where people feel safe.

It’s where conversations happen. Meals are shared. Tears are cried. Prayers are lifted.
It’s where strangers become friends—and friends become family.

That’s the heart behind Living Rooms at Open House Community Church.
We aren't trying to create polished Bible studies or another event to add to your calendar.

We're creating places where people belong.

WHAT ARE LIVING ROOMS?

Welcome Home. Grow Together.

Living Rooms are smaller gatherings of people from Open House Community Church and our community who meet regularly in homes and other welcoming spaces. Each Living Room may look a little different, but the heart remains the same:

Presence Over Perfection
Come as you are. You don't have to have everything figured out.

Family Over Formality
This isn't about putting on a program. It's about building genuine relationships.

Scripture-Centered
We make space to talk about God's Word and how it applies to everyday life.

Prayer-Focused
We pray for one another, believe together, and celebrate what God is doing.

Life Together
Living Rooms aren't just about the time we gather. They're about relationships that continue throughout the week.

WHAT DOES A LIVING ROOM LOOK LIKE?

Simple. Intentional. Real.

There isn't a perfect formula. You may walk into a Living Room and find people gathered around a meal. Another group may start with coffee. Some may meet in an actual living room, while others gather around a kitchen table or somewhere in the community. But most gatherings include:

Welcome + Connection
Time to talk, laugh, eat, catch up, and actually get to know one another.

Conversation + Scripture
An opportunity to discuss Sunday's message, Scripture, or what God is teaching us.

Prayer
Space to pray with and for one another.

Community
Relationships that go beyond the gathering as we encourage, support, and walk alongside one another throughout the week.
