Checking for a Pulse

If the Church is a body, as referred to in Scripture, then it has to have a head and a heart. Often times, we can be confused and think that we are or at least have a say in these two vital parts. Using Scripture, we see that God is the head and heart through His knowledge and love that defies our limited ability in both. When we learn to trust and follow the leadings of both of these, the Church becomes a living, active agent of change and hope in a lost world.
